[Announcement] Posting guidelines

In addition to exercising common courtesy when interacting on this forum, please observe the following guidelines when creating a new thread. Any blatant errors may lead to thread deletion and revokation of posting privileges. 

Support questions

In order for our support staff to address your issues in the most efficient and detailed way possible, we ask that you use the following format when posting your support questions:

  • Subject line: please provide a brief abstract of your issue, i.e. "How do I find my licenses?" insteaf of "Help??"
  • Name
  • Account ID (existing customers): C####, can be found in your customer login or on your invoices. 
  • Contact email
  • Software version
    • iOS: on your home diagram screen, select the gear icon in the upper left hand corner, scroll the popup window down, and the app version will be under the "Logout" button, e.g. MeasureSquare 2.3.12.9
    • WIndows: select the question mark in the upper right hand corner of the software and click on "About MeasureSquare". The version will be stated under your program edition, e.g. Version 15.0.29.444
  • Platform: Windows or iOS 
  • Issue details: please provide a detailed description of the problem you are encountering, including the actions you were taking when the problem occured, i.e. "When I was doing this specific process my program crashed" will be more valuable than "Why is MeasureSquare crashing?"

Code of conduct

  1. MeasureSquare's forums are for discussion of topics directly related to MeasureSquare and the flooring industry.
  2. Don't post in all caps, use a misleading title, excessive punctuation, and/or non-standard symbols, etc.

    We understand that you want your post read, but please refrain from using these tactics to attract attention.

  3. Using any of our team members' names in a thread topic is frowned upon

    Please keep your thread title relevant to its content. We understand that you would like a timely response to your issue, but trying to get the attention of a specific member of our staff will not make that come to pass.
