I have completed everything, then I found out the scale is wrong. How can I fix it without doing everything all over?

This article applies to M2 2011- 2015 commercial and multi-family version.

After having imported a floorplan and completed partially or most of the takeoffs, you would like to rescale the plan with existing drawing the scale is wrong. Follow the steps to correct scale with exisiting drawings:

1. Right click on the plan-> Set Takeoff Scale...->check "Pick two points to set up scale"

2. If the plan has one scale for both horizontal and vertical directions, keep "All Direction".

3. Select from the pull-down menu from the following options:

a. Only rooms on the image : if selected, the profram will only rescale the blue print with rooms on image. It won't rescale rooms on blank space.

b.Rooms in current layer : If selected, the program will rescale the blue print with all rooms on current layer and keep the scale for other layers

c. All rooms in all layers: If selected, the program will rescale the whole project with all rooms and all layers using the new scale.

4. Set up the scale by picking up two points as usual. For details, please refer to the user guide.

Great, I was wondering how to do this!

Is there a way to crop a plan, after it has been imported?

[#2]: You cannot crop a plan after it is imported. You have to crop the plan when you are previewing all images/PDFs.
